I loved the spacious room and the fantastic breakfast buffet, especially the halloumi and mushroom burger for dinner. The bar area was cozy but the TVs showing football were a bit distracting. Overall, a solid choice for comfy stays.

I had a fantastic stay and appreciated that it was a short walk to the Great North Museum and The Biscuit Factory, which made my weekend explorations so much more enjoyable. all staff members I encountered were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home after each day out.

I spent a fantastic weekend here and loved that so many attractions like the Newcastle Castle and Grey's Monument were within almost 2 km, making my city strolls effortlessly enjoyable, plus, for the price I paid, the facilities were quite good.

Consider dining at Fratellos. The variety of menu options is excellent and the quality of food was good during our stay.

What a fantastic place for families! It was just a 20-minute walk to the electric atmosphere at St James' Park, which the kids absolutely loved. We also enjoyed the amazing self-service breakfast, with something for everyone. The staff were super accommodating, even giving us late check-out!

My kids wished for a kids' play area in the hotel.

i had a wonderful stay at holiday inn! the room was absolutely beautiful, spacious, and super clean. it had a touch of luxury that really impressed me. the on-site dining was a pleasant surprise too! parking was effortless and safe, and the staff were really helpful in getting us an uber into town.

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Holiday Inn in Jesmond. The room was spacious with a big comfortable bed, perfect for relaxing after a long day. A nice touch was the chilled bottled water and a KitKat waiting for me. that was a delightful surprise. Breakfast began early, around 6:30 AM, which helped a lot since I had to leave early for work. The variety at breakfast was impressive. there were plenty of options including tasty pastries. The location was ideal for my work, with easy access to local transport and just a quick metro ride to the city center. parking was a real hassle. I frequently struggled to find a space in the small parking lot, and despite being a guest, I had to pay £10 per night for parking. It was frustrating to deal with limited spaces and other guests parking poorly. the noise from the road at night made sleeping difficult sometimes.

Parking seemed a bit confusing, leading to unexpected costs that could be troublesome. My room, next to the lift, picked up noise from late arrivals, which wasn't ideal for sleep. The shower unit in Room 249 had a whistling sound that seemed indicative of needing maintenance. The mirror light struggled to work, adding to the slightly outdated feel of some features in the room.
